There is nothing better than to witness the stunningly beautiful countryside of north-east Iceland while riding the Icelandic horse. Surrounding the Bjarnstaðir farm is the most famous attractions in Iceland like Ásbirgi, the horseshoe-shaped canyon and the magnificent Jökulsárgljúfur canyon..

Our farmers breed and train their own horses so they know their horses like family members and will find a perfect horse for your riding ability.

We will start this journey by saying hi to the beautiful horses, petting them, getting to know them a bit and saddling up. After an introduction to the horses, we will start by riding in the
paddock for a few minutes before we head out to the beautiful countryside near Bjarnastaðir farm.

We will head out towards the mighty canyon Jökulsárgljúfur, it is surly a sight to see and to witness this real force of nature when riding the Icelandic horse is a phenomenal experience.
