The story about the farm
Haukur Suska is best known for his tour Trail of Hope. He has been living in Hvammur farm for many years with his children and all of his horses. Hvammur is situated in the beautiful Vatnsdalur valley in North Iceland and is known for one of three uncountable phenomena in Iceland the uncountable Hills. Vatnsdalur is also known to be rich of Icelandic old Sagas and where the last execution in Iceland happened as Agnes Magnúsdóttir and Friðrik Sigurðsson were beheaded for double murder.
Haukur at Hvammur farm has been renovating the accommodation for few years. He has a new house that the guests on our riding tours usually stay in and Haukur stays in a recently renovated sheep shed.
